Zombies and skating…an interesting combination.
People who pre-order Black and White 2 will be able to get a special pokemon that will be able to be downloaded via Nintendo Wi-fi connection.

The release of the Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 games for Nintendo DS is quickly approaching, and Nintendo is giving fans yet another reason to be excited for their 12th October 2012 launch across the UK. Consumers who purchase either game will have the opportunity to receive the Mythical Pokémon Genesect via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection for the first time ever through a free distribution for a limited time after launch. In Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2, players will return to the Unova region and embark on a new adventure set two years after the events of the Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version games.
Genesect, the newly discovered Mythical Pokémon, has been restored from a 300 million year old fossil. Modified by Team Plasma, this Pokémon has a fearsome signature move called Techno Blast. Genesect is the only known Pokémon with this move. Genesect is a Bug and Steel-Type Pokémon with the ability to adjust its power levels based on the foe it’s battling. This powerful Pokémon will be available from 12th October 2012 through to 12th November 2012.

Many are wondering why Nintendo isn’t showing any Wii U stuff at Comic-Con. Seems like a great place to show it off, but alas it’s missing from their line-up. Sometimes one does have to wondering about Nintendo. Their system will be released in a few months, yet they are showing it off in a very limited way. You’d think they’d be getting the word out everytime they got a chance. Either way, below is what they’ll actually be showing at the Con.

At this year’s Comic-Con International 2012 event taking place July 12-15 at the San Diego Convention Center, members of the general public will enjoy an early chance to get their hands on Nintendo 3DS XL, a new version of the Nintendo 3DS system with 90 percent larger screens that launches Aug. 19.
In addition to Nintendo’s booth at the show (#5135), multiple activities will take place at a special Nintendo Gaming Lounge in the San Diego Ballroom at the Marriott Marquis & Marina at 333 W. Harbor Drive, adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center. A Comic-Con badge is not required to gain entry to the Nintendo Gaming Lounge.

Nintendo will be having a Nintendo Direct tomorrow at noon (Japan time). We’re not sure what they will be talking about, but lots of people are speculating. We’ll be watching the event in any case and will post if anything interesting happens.
Also, Nintendo Europe will also be hosting a Nintendo Direct later that day as well. On Facebook, NoA made a statement that Reggie would be giving some information as well.

Before Pokemon Black and White 2 hits the shelves, Pokemon players can pick up Pokemon Conquest for the DS. The game will be available June 18th and will have Pokemon joining leaders and characters from feudal Japan in order to offer new adventures for long time Pokemon players. 3DS users will also be able to play the game in 2D mode.

New and experienced fans of the Pokémon video game series are invited to embark on an entirely new role-playing adventure. Pokémon Conquest launches for the Nintendo DS family of hand-held systems on June 18. The game is also playable on Nintendo 3DS in 2D mode, and challenges players to enter into battles across a variety of environments in the mythical region of Ransei. For the first time in the Pokémon franchise, players take on the role of Warlords who are linked with Pokémon, and must recruit allies to unite the kingdoms of Ransei and unleash the Legendary Pokémon. Developed by TECMO KOEI GAMES Co., Ltd., the game features nearly 200 Pokémon to battle and recruit, including many from the fan-favorite Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version games.
In Pokémon Conquest, the region of Ransei is divided into 17 distinct kingdoms – one for each of the 17 types of Pokémon. Players will be able to choose from 36 playable Warlords, each with its own unique storyline, and engage in a series of turn-based battles in which they can control Pokémon and Warriors. Battles can grow to include as many as 12 Pokémon in a six-on-six skirmish. Many battlefield victories will let players recruit more Warlords and Warriors and gain access to additional allies. Along the way, they will also encounter fascinating Warlords and Warriors inspired by the Japanese feudal era.

The DS will be getting more software even in it’s twilight years. Ubisoft and Poptropica look to be bringing over a virtual world for DS and presumably 3DS users.

Here a trailer for a new game coming to DSiWare. The game is called 99Seconds and the goal is to survive for 99 seconds using slowdown and other abilities.
