For Golden Week, it seems like the DS stranglehold on the Japanese market continues. With such positive sales, how can anything possibly compete? The good thing is everything seems to be normal at the moment. DS and Wii hold the first and second spots, followed by the PSP. The PS3 and PS2 seem to be trading places every other week, and the Xbox 360 remains unchanged. Sony should be happy that the PS3 is staying above the 10,000 units mark instead of dipping into 360 territory. It will be interesting to see if things change based on the Square Enix party held over the weekend. That’s it for this week. Until next time….
